L@@K AGAIN: pics of what to looK for: 1998 4WD 4Runner and stock front springs

Which side does the blue-blue go on and which side does the blue-yellow go on ???

I have Bob's old parts and they are perfect but I need to know which spring is pass and which driver.

Come on, someone go out side and take a look. No tools or tire removal needed.

I have a 96 but mine has Blue-Red on the driver's side and Blue-Blue on the passenger side.

Hope this helps.

Probably the same, they did something in 1998 with the front springs and then again in 99. I believe that 96-97 have the same, 1998 has it's own and 1999-2002 have the same but each wheel, tire, 4X, 2X configuration will get a slightly different spring but within the family.

OK, I'll try blue-blue on the passenger side.

I'd be happy to go out and look, but I'm not sure whether I have stock springs or not, and I'm not sure where these colors would be. Mine just look dirty.

Scraped off some dirt, and the shock says Gas-a-just, so I'm guessin they're not stock...sorry.

You want to look on the coil spring itself, on there is 2 swatches of color. They will be different on each side.

I would be the color scheme is the same and that the red vs yellow color designation just tells which year(s) springs they are. That would be interesting to know.

blue on driver side

and blue on pass. side. Dunno, couldn't see ANYTHING on the springs themselves. ALL i could see were blue bands around the bottoms of the absorbers themselves. Just Blue.
sorry I couldn't help more, I even RAN out there all exicted!

The colors are on the outside of the springs, so you will not have to go under the truck.
