Anybody add fender flares onto a 4runner without stock flares?

is it difficult? does it look ok? If anyone has done it please post pics thanks.

I've found some good deals on 4x4 4runners but they lack fender flares. Ideally i would want a black 4runner without the chrome bumpers and with fender flares.

I think most ppl that ad fender flares that are not stock go with the bush wacker fender flares. They are similar to the black plactic fender flares on some SR5 models. I hear there not much trouble to install and I've seen a fefw truck with them and they look pretty good.

Well, it isn't black.

This truck came with no flares, the black flares were added later. They are OEM flares, as are the mudflaps.

OEM's are nice...I have them and love them. The nice thing about the bushwackers is that they end at the rockerpanel like the limited flares. The OEM one's without a mudflap are a bit short. I know I took off my running boards and have not been able to get the factory mubflap yet.

Yup, and I was going for a different look that could definately take the trails!

Its a shame that the tires are tame looking and I dont have a dana 60 under there!
