any ideas? custom psp install
I want to install my psp in my 4Runner. I was thinking about putting it in the passenger visor. Someone also suggested putting it where the top vents and clock are.
Does anyone else have any other suggestions and maybe a how-to???

99 4Runner Limited.
I don't want to play the games while its in the mount. I want it in the mount for watching the movies and listening to the mp3's. But I want to be able to easily take out the PSP to play the games.
I don't believe you can currently hook the game to an outside screen.

but back to your question: anything is possible but to my knowledge, no one on this forum has done this, let alone think bout this idea

Search the PSP forums... guys make USB chargers and stuff... stands out of legos... you name it... I wouldn't think to mount my PSP in my 4R... when we go camping we use it to watch movies with the sound coming in through the AUX in on my stereo. I love it... Maybe you can somehow convert the drink holder to hold it in place. My 2nd gens drinkholder is pretty worthless, I may try something. It would be nice to see if you could possibly amp up the internal antenna to receive GPS satellite signal... OH! Did you see the 4gb microdrive for the PSP? It's only $200, good deal considering a 2gb duo will run you about $250.

you could try something like Flamed did, but make it wider for a PSP
