Another reason 4runners rule !!!

My AC isn't working, not that big of deal I prefer windows down anyway.....So I started letting my rear window down to get more air flow....I love it, it feels almost like, well.... you first gener's don't make fun of me too much I can pretend a little. Anyways, I started noticing that most SUV's don't have the option of letting back window down, another reason why 4runners rule.

when i first got my runner, id tell all my passengers to 'look backwards' and then put it down.

it got a few oohs and ahhs, but.. it wore out really fast!

My friends love the window back there, they always sit in the cargo area, even if the rear seat is empty, lol. In the 4runner, its either shotgun or the cargo area everyones fighting for!

I hope to soon share the same joy as you guys, my regulator and motor were shot when I bought my runner a couple months ago, replacement parts should be here any day now, can't wait to have trunk access from the back!

i myself love the back window. and im with dibble, shotgun or cargo. however i do wish the remote had a way of making the window go up, instead of it just going straight down. o well the key serves that purpose, but its not as hi-tech.

Whats even better is to fold the rear seats down, put a huge blanket, and watch dvd's, lol, weve done that on long trips

Not to hijack, but with the front 2 or all 4 windows down, will rolling down the back glass have the same effect as opening a tailgate on the end of a truck bed to increase mileage?

thats how i cruise around, and i think it might help a little. in my experience, its the same effect as driving around with/without a roof rack; that amount of gas saved. ive got 5" lift 33's s/c roof rack, and i get 16mpg. and i dont drive the s/c like an old weeny. i drive it like a 17 year old punk.. haha

I love cruising around with my back window down. My exhaust is super loud, especially with this SC'r at full song and the window down.

yessssssssssssssssssssssss, if you want to pound someones head off in your backseat, roll it back up. to get that clear pound, roll it down. VERY big difference.

Hmm...am I the only one that gets noxious smelling fumes come in whenever I have the rear window rolled down? It was this way on my 96 as well.

id have to say that its pretty hilarious to turn ur bass boost control up all the way (some of us have them!!) and turn on a song that has a ridiculous amount of bass in it and give a hello to ur rear passengers. rolling with windows down is the way to go. we paid for an exhaust, and its loud, well you gota get your moneys worth. even us japanese suv owners can appreciate the sound of a flowmaster.
