Another Maglight Mounting

I wanted a place to mount my rechargable Maglight other than beneath the front seat, yet keep it accessible. I chose the rear of the console, utilizing the ashtray unit as a mounting point.

I used an aluminum plate as a mounting surface for the quick-release Maglight mounting bracket and screwed it to the console.

The ashtray and cupholders are no longer accessible, but since nobody ever rides back there anyway, I accepted the sacrifice.

The power cord runs under the console and plugs into the accessory outlet.

Just another option to consider.

That's a good idea to utilize the rear ashtray. I wouldnt let anyone smoke in my 4Runner anyway, so its just wasted space if you ask me.

Its not like I need the rear heater here in PHX either...

Sweet idea! Even better for my Taco since it wouldn't block anything on the rear of the console anyway (nothing there)! I can just use a plate inside the console to mount the bracket to from the outside.

Now that is one thing you will never regret buying.. Trust me, there are so few things made so tough that they last a very long time.. The Magcharger is one of them..
