another herculiner question
here's my rig: http://s275.photobucket.com/albums/jj289/cgordon42/
I'm kinda tire of the black fender trim and am thinking of gettin' rid of it. Over the years however, they have rubbed through the paint in several places. So, I'm thinking of herculining the areas they currently cover, the rockers, and maybe part way up the doors.
My questions is, which color herculiner? White, black, or gray? If anyone here has a white 3rd gen and has already done this, pics would definitely be appreciated.

mmmm Interesting question. There have been a lot of us who have been blacking everything out. But I bet white would be an eye catcher also. What do you plan on doing with the bumpers, keep them chrome, get different ones, keep what you have? What about your grill, any extra lights, other things? That will really determain what direction you want to take with it. If you keep everything as is, I think white. But think about this... If your interior is gray, then a gray stripe along your rockers would go well with the gray on the inside.

gonna go with a TJM up front with hella 500s and probably a Sonoran rear. Stubbs hd-sko, hopefully sooner than later. got the stuff for a Satoshi grill. Thinking of getting rid of all the chrome. It's a tan interior.

The only problem with herculiner is that the sun fades it if you don't use that water based UV coating on it.Advance Auto used to sell a bed liner product that was harder and less rubbery than herculiner that made an excellent chip guard that could be painted over,I can't remember the name of the stuff but I think it was made by Bondo.Hope that helps

you can paint the herculiner different colors when you get it on. MillerPKA painted his black herculiner gray for about a week? and then painted it back to black. But i second the white, it would be interesting to see!
