Amsoil Filter

I have a question for those of you with the amsoil ts-115 air filter. I just got mine today and noticed that it is about twice the size of my K&N. Ok this may sound silly, but did I get the correct filter?..Is it supposed to be twice as thick as the K&N making it more difficult to install?...please help !

Hey sport,

From what I understand, the Amsoil filter is thicker and is a snug fit in the airbox. You have to push it in to get it all the way down, metal faces the rear of the Runner and Amsoil label faces front.

If you just got it from the factory, it's probably over-oiled so get some paper towels and squish some of it out before you install it or it may cause you some problems.
