Am i regeared?

Lately ive been doing some highway driving and ive noticed that my RPMs get pretty high at not too high of a speed. i have stock size wheels\tires so im thinking that theres no speedo error

as of know im at 68-70mph@3000RPM's in 5th gear
is this normal? This is my usual shift point (or lower) and this doesnt seem right to me...or maybe im just stupid..oh well

what are you guys getting with ur 3.0s?

Sounds like you might have 4.56's. Those RPM's are about par with my truck in 5th gear and I have 4.56's and 31's. I don't know what the stock size tires are on an 89, but are they 31's?

sounds like you might have 4.56s. that'd put you at 2988RPM at 70mph with 265 tires.

Nope. 4.56 gears came with 31x10.50s as a package, and had nothing to do with any towing package. And those mirrors didn't come on the Runner. You might look at your vin sticker axle code (ignore what it says for tire size, some say 225 when they had 31s) and see what the code says, go here to check it - http://www.brian894x4.com/Gearratiosanddiffs.html
then jack up the rear and turn a tire and count the driveshaft revs to double check. But 3000 rpm at 70mph is in the ballpark for stock tires and gears.

Pretty close to 31's.....and I'll bet you that a 31" would be a few bucks a bit cheaper than buying 265's. 9 times out of 10, the standard size is cheaper than metric, even if it's a little larger.
