Got a new mod to add for the '01-'02s :

80 series LC horn swap--for that good old Japanese sounding horn. Same wiring harness and they'll bolt right up. It appears you could also use the horns from the 96-00 model years (and possibly older?). The 01-02 are the model years that have the american-sounding horns.

Thanks, i figred having a 1 stop shop for mods would be nice, admitedly i have been lazy the last few months and need to update this with the latest mods.

Since i have not been arod, if anyone knows of any mods to come out in the last few months be sure to post them up! Along with a new link to the DRL disable mod. I will update this thread sometime in the near future if we get some more mods to add.

Great thread, would like to see more of peoples "Satoshi mod" - since everyone has there own unique twist on this mod it is cool to see what others have done.

Its nothing fancy, but for me and all surfers this mod is great! I call it the "shower mod" for after a day of beach riding, this 6 gallon water jug works great. At the car dump, when I bought a used rack (only $20!!), I just bought another U Ring from the same runner. Drilled a hole and bam bam, it was ready to hold my jug down in any conditions!

Let me know what you think

here is a picture of my satoshi grill mod
except i used an emblem from an old 80s truck i found at a junkyard
and i didnt bother to do all the fiberglassing/bondoing in the instructions... i just cut it and hacksawed it down to where it couldnt be seen. im thinking i should have spray painted the grill material black but it looks fine as it is.

This write up is only for '01 - '02 4Runners. The quick and dirty method is to simply cut Pin 12 - the Black/Yellow wire on your drl module box under your dash.

Of course you can always find it (and many other mods), in the tech section: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f125/

LOL, not sure.

I finally got around to updating the mod list, there were 3 or 4 new ones i had not added yet. So it is now back up to date.

If anyone knows of anything else be sure to post it up here, I usually wait till there are 3 or 4 new ones and update them all at once, gets kinda old doing it for every new mod by itself.
