Aisin hubs...
Just curious where you guys bought yours. I need some for my 93 4runner and I've seen a few posts saying people find them for $50. Any input would be great!
Also I'll have some rebuilt Warn Premium hubs for sale soon if anyone wants them They don't fit my 93 so maybe they'll some of you older guys.

I got a set from EBAY for $30 (rare to go so cheap!) for my solid axle Landcruiser. The guy I bought the engine from didn't know they were worth anything. He has been sending them away with the hulks (whole IFS fronts). I sold him he could get $50 a set all day (shoulda said 30)

i wouldn't put anything but aisin hubs on a toyota truck. the reason they're so strong is the cone washers with no other brands(to my knowledge) have. with something like a warn hub you have to keep tightening them to keep them from flying off.
warn and superwinch make good hubs, but save them for something like a dana axle where they're internally splined instead of just bolted on.

when i had IFS, i got mine from the yota yard linked earlier in the post, make SURE to ask for IFS hubs and NOT solid axle hubs, they are not interchangable

Look around local wrecking yards. I've bought two different sets one for $5/pair the other for $10/pair, both in great condition. It's better to actually see them before buying. I bought a pair from someone here for $50 over a year ago. They were in very poor condition because a hammer was used to remove them. The face and dial had good chunks taken out of them also. My point is to get a picture of the actual hubs you're buying.
BTW I sold both pairs of hubs for $75/pair after being rebuilt/repainted. I also have a set at home right now torn apart for cleaning, and will have another set in a week or so. I'll sell them for $50 cleaned and regreased. Don't have time right now for complete rebuild/repaint. The only thing they may need is a new o-ring on the dial. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send pictures. I have a complete set of cone washers also. Will sell the set of those for $15. They cost $6 a piece at Toyota.
