NGK = OEM.

Every other wire and plug manufacture should be avoided.

I've got the True-flow filter and MIT tube, which I added to my engine after I put a S/C with URD kit on. Obviously, I couldn't notice any power change, but I have to agree with what a few others have said, everything just feels smoother.

Thanks
Just added the mit tube, look at options box on link below.

Here is JR or MIT tube only.

Does True Flow offer just the tube also? I have the Filter now so really don't need another filter.

From some of the post here though, looks like the Airaid MIT tube works well with the True Flow filter. Any opinions on Airaid vs True Flow intake tubes?

Just a big difference in price, mostly. plastic vs. metal (Airaid -> True-flow).

I was willing to throw away some money... but not *that* much!

Functionally, I can't imagine them performing much differently. (Sorry, I slacked off in the airflow classes in college!)

Well, with the trueflow, it's the whole system. On the MIT tube, you could just get that and use your true flow. Or, do the full truflow system.

Here is JR or MIT tube only.

That's kinda what I thought...Unless there is a different bend or obstruction in one Vs. the other, there shouldn't be much Difference. Thanks

True Flow tube versus Airaid tube

The only difference is sound. Function and design is identical.

BOTH will increase engine noise thats produced from removing all the resonators and silencers. But...

Some have complained about the True Flow tube itself (metal/alloy) because it produced an annoying sound.

The Airaid tube itself (polyethylene) makes no additional noise.

Like i said earlier, i did my research and a lot of it.

edit:

Just wanted to give a shout out to Northridge toyota for giving me a deal on the True Flow kit. It is/still a noticable improvement. Thanks Evan.

just to give you guys a lil update. my true flow filter and deck plate came in today and im still waiting for the airaid MIT but i couldn't wait anymore so ripped the POS K&N FIPK out and did the deckplate and installed the filter. Man what i difference...the K&N has nothing on this new set up. I cant wait for the MIT to come in. hopefully there will be an even more boost of power. Will post pictures later on.

Is that airaid tube really worth the $90? Seems expensive for a piece of plastic pipe...I did the ISR mod with a 6 inch piece of PVC pipe and a trueflow filter w/ deckplate and love it. Has anyone experienced a performance gain from the airaid pipe?
