Air conditioning

Ha, I realize its the winter, but I thought about this issue the past weekend. My '01 (6cyl, auto) does not have very cold a/c. Its cool, but definitely leaves room for improvement. We also have a '93 Corolla, and the a/c will freeze you out of the car in the middle of summer. Has anyone else had problems or have any suggestions? Thanks

Have a tech check the system to verify it is filled properly with 134a, clean off your condenser and if you are still having issues you might look into cleaning the evaporator. My Civic is colder and hotter than my 4runner (heat esp has been an issue for me but not so for others).

(side note) Actually, the A/C works in the winter as well - it's what helps the forward defroster do it's thing. Warm air helps, but DRY (because of the A/C) warm air does it better.
