AHHHHH clutch has a mind of it own
Some advice is needed
A little background info on the truck 96 tacoma 2.7L 5 speed with 93,000miles
So this started to happen yesterday when I went to drive away the clutch grabbed all the way at the bottom of the peddle which is very wierd because mine always grabbed way high up on the peddle. So I thought that was strange and didn't think much of it. Then it did it again and agian and now my clutch grabbes where ever. Then it happened, with the peddle fully pressed the clutch was not disingaging (as I am going in reverse down the middle of the parking lot banging on the shifter to get it to pop out of gear screaming choice words at it) once I was able to man handle it out of reverse I pushed the clutch all the way in and it was back to normal kind of. It was grapping even higher on the peddle then normal then it would grab all the way down then the middle I am so confused and I have n clue what the problem could be I check the hydrolic fluid look great and nice and full
could the pressure plate be on its way out or the slave cylinder
some one please help me

Happened to me on my first wheeling trip to a rock park. Slave cylinder bypassed and went right to the floor with no clutch disengagement. I would replace both before you rip detents out of your transmission or ruin your clutch or run into someone on the street!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
