A340F transmission driveline truns in neutral

Had an issue with my a340F trans for awhile now, was hoping someone on here might now what is causing it, when shifted into neutral the output shaft is turning enough that it prevents shifting the transfer case between 4wd hi and low because the transfer case N is between those 2 postilions, the trans drives half the transfer case in N preventing the gears from meshing into 4 lo, then to stop it by shifting the transmission to park it makes the parking paw skip to a stop due to the moving mass of the transfer case, this is annoying because i forget every single time, the need of shifting into park and not N before shifting the transfer case.

in another test with engine at idle the on rear wheel jacked up and shifting in the N and the transfer case in 2hi the rear wheel turns about 30 rpm, but with low torque it can be stopped by the gentle application of a foot.

could this be an adjustment like shift linage or throttle pressure?

I thinking that something might be internally wrong with the trans that im just going to have to live with until it breaks, if its not adjustable
