'99 AC High side-low side pressures
Whoooeee it's hot here folks...Over 100F for three or four days now. The AC on the '99 hasn't been all that cool, so I added a can of R134 which brought the low-side pressure to 44 lbs (checked using one of those cheapo AC pressure testers).
Temperature in the vent is 48F. Wondering if the low side pressure is too high now. Gonna run out and get a more accurate Hi-Lo guage set up and recheck.
Just wondering what the high-side, low side pressures are supposed to be.

check out http://www.autoacforum.com/ and http://www.aircondition.com/wwwboard/ I don't know much about 134a but 44psi sounds a little high to me.

According to this pressure-temp chart, at today's temp of 102, the pressure on the low side was within specs of the chart.
