Shouldn't need anything else with a lift that small. With basic knowledge and a little research you could probably install it on your own too. A second set of hands helps and if there's anywhere around your area you can rent a spring compressor from that makes it a lot easier.

If your just a student..put a set of OME 906's out back, will give slight lift and have tons of load capacity over the stockers and will ride nice because they are progressive, unlike the linear stockers(Have 906's on my 97')..call it done...When you have a grand or more burning a hole in your pocket..do your lift and do it right.

I have a '98 with KYB MonoMax suspension, and the stock springs don't seem to sag at all anymore. My back end came up about 1 inch when I installed the new shocks. As for the lift, I'm thinking of doing the same - I was going to do the spacer method on the cheap, and probably snag some new springs while I'm in there. I got a $55 spring compressor by Craftsman that works nicely. I assume since you already re-did the struts, you have access to one. I can't seem to find many springs out there except OME or factory.

This is a reply to my question of how much lift each OME spring will give.
How much lift could I expect to get out of the following coils on a 2000 Toyota 4Runner?
Fronts:
880
881
882
Rear:
906
890
891
"Hello,
I am giving you the approximate lift heights, your exact amount of lift will vary slightly depending on the condition of your current springs. The front heights are respectively: (880)1.25", (881)1.25", & (882)2.25" and the rears are: (906)2.0", (890)2.75", & (891)3.0". The 882's are not an ARB/ OME recommended fit, but our experience has shown that they work well with some applications. Please feel free to call me on the phone and I can go over this in detail and let you know how each set-up may work/ ride.
Thanks,
Chris

These are lift heights on a 2000 4runner. I can confirm that the 890 & 891 gains are acurate ( I've had both)
I am told that the "99"s have a 1" taller spring stock. Therefor I would assume that your gains would be 1" less than the amounts stated above. Maybe someone that has a 99 can confirm this.
I am running Tundra TRDs in front and I gained 1.75" over stock.
Here is a compairison of front springs.

I think they're awesome I just need to get the 890 to fit 285's under my rig. Other than that the ride is very nice and I saw about a 2" lift from the stock 99 coils but I think that was also because my rear end was sagging a bit.
