Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm doing this mod this weekend on a 2002 SR5. Since all the factory wiring is in place, is there any indicator on the dash that shows the lights are on such as a small green icon of a light or something?

I think I'm gonna go the route of using a limited fog light high/low beam stalk as well. I found the black plug in the column that I believe is for these lights.

Its the same plug that is already plugged into your existing stalk...you just need to add the new stalk, a relay, lights and your done. I might have an extra relay if you can't find one.

As for a light on the dash to show when they are on...I don't think there is but I will have to look at mine on my drive home.

Thanks, let me know. I have the kit from PP so I've got the lights, relay, etc. I found an extra black connector in my dash that has 2 wires going to it. I assumed this was for the fog lights, but I could be wrong.

Checked on my way home...nothing lit up when I turned on the fogs. As for the harnes you found...it isn't the fog lights, as mentioned earlier, they connect through the factory stalk so what you found is for something else.

Thanks for checking and the heads up on the harness. Kinda sucks there's no lamp indicating the lights are illuminated.

I've found the articles on making the fogs come on with the running lights and staying on with the high beams, that's a must do mod for me, so that's on the list. I also found the article describing how to add a switch to the DRLs to turn them off and on at will, so that'll be done too.

My last question, does anyone have the part number for the Limited Hi/Low beam stalk that includes the fog light switch collar? I've searched here and Google. Now my searches in the past on this site have been crummy so don't beat me up too bad if I missed it.
