98 Tacoma Stock Height Question (pics)

I have a 98 Tacoma Xtracab that I don't think looks too low, especially when compared to advertising photos of the same truck. It is still pretty level so I guess if it sagged it sagged evenly front to back. My leafs are just beginning to go to negative arch, but it would seem if they have any positive arch from the factory it would have sat like 3" taller. Were the leafs flat from the factory? Anyway, here is the status of my leaves currently:

And here is the overall truck for reference:

Anyway, it drives a little sloppy and doesn't handle turns with bumps very well so I think it is getting a little soft and the shocks are probably shot. I am going to go with the Wheelers 3-leaf AAL I think and either lift struts in the front or just a small spacer to level it. May depend on how much the springs bring up the rear... Any opinions or experience on this? Just curious since most of the times I see pics on the forum of negative springs it is clearly visible that the truck is sagging.

Alright, thanks for the input MK. I went ahead and ordered some 2" front spacers to match the 3-leaf progressive AAL from wheelers. I installed them about a month ago and have been very happy so far. I also installed some new rough country shocks from Wheelers at the same time. I left the overload leaf in in order to get closer to matching the front 2" lift. Anyway, without further ado. Here is the truck as I bought it on steelies with slightly smaller than stock tires:

Here it is with some different wheels and 31" Hankooks:

And here it is with the lift on:

Not too drastic, but just the right height in my opinion for the mild wheeler that it is.

And a couple more in its natural environment these days:
