97Lmtd mod help????

I purchased a 99 center consol and it has the ashtray and cup holder but it also brought the rear heater panel. My runna never had that feature. Is it hard to add it? Will it cost alot? Where can i find it? One more thing to everyone out there.....how do i do it????

i know how to install it but i dont have the rear heater in my 97..... would i be able to add this feature?????

I would say yes you can leave it there but it wont work, unless you add power wires for it and also Fan unit under the seat that it uses for circulating the air. Just my .02

It would be very difficult to add the rear heater. Doesn't it use it's own plumbing seperate from the primary heater? I say just don't bother with any of the extras.

well it seems that the rear heater will stay for looks or ill mod something on top of it???? any ideas what to do to it?

Build it up and install some 12v outlets for the rear......?

You will have to run new coolant lines to the unit. I hear that it is a pain.

What color is your interior? I have an oak 1999+ console shell w/o a rear heater for sale. PM me and make an offer if you want it.

I wondered the same thing when I switched my console. don't worry about it, no one will notice. I am going to rig a light that comes on when you flip the fan switch at some point, but for now it's just dead.
