I currently have the stock metal rear wind deflector and want to replace it with a rear spoiler. Does anyone know if the 3rd gen spoilers fit the 2nd gen 4Runners?

 

Not sure what the difference is between a "spoiler" and a rear window wind deflector. However, a 95 is still a 2nd gen, so I would say if you have one off a 95, it should fit a 90.

 

3rd Gen wings likely WILL NOT fit. 90-93 are the same. 94-95 have a recess for clearing the third brake light.

 

How can I remove the rear window wind deflector on a 94 Runner? I've taken off the actual deflector part, but the two things that attach it to the body look like they don't come off. I've tried pulling and twisting but they won't come off and I'm afraid to put a lot of force into it cause I don't want to rip them from the truck and mess anything up.

 

The 2 rear mounts for the wing are attached with 2 screws each. You have to remove the plactic trim and some of the headliner to gain access to the screws. after you remove the rear mounts you will be left with 4 holes in the roof .
