'92 Runner won't start..Help!
Timing couldn't be worse, headed to the woods for the annual 4-wheelin' and camping trip this weekend.
Basically, I installed the fender well snorkel and now the truck won't start.
Symptoms:
Turn key to run - all accessories, lights, radio, windows, etc working normal
Turn key to start - nothing, nada, no clicks, clock fades and stereo loses power, no change in voltmeter
I checked the bunch of wires that runs behind the section of inner fender that got cut out and those were in good shape, no nicks, no cuts. I just don't think the no-start and the snorkel are related. However, I could be wrong.
The truck is a 1992 3.0 automatic. It had been sitting for about an hour. It is raining today. I tried to start it in park, reverse, neutral, drive, low, 2wheel, 4wheel (hi and lo).
I am going nuts over this!!!

I'm not too great with electrical issues, but here are some ideas...
1) Bad battery - try getting a jump start
2) Bad battery cable connection(s) - trying loosening, wiggling, and retightening post clamps
3) Starter contacts - run search of forum (try tapping starter housing)
4) Power to starter solenoid - look at this thread https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...ighlight=start
5) Ignition switch, cut wire, short, bad ground, ???
I would recommend to start by checking wires connected at the battery.
