89 4Runner: green light on cruise module??
The green light that is on the cruise control module next to the button that turns on the cruise stays on ALL the time (key on, off, cruise on or off)
The cruise control itself works fine.
What is this light for? I don't have the owners manual so can't look there.

I don't believe it. I posted this message and then went out and moved the 4runner. Now the green light is out. It had been on for two months since I bought it. If anyone has a '89 4runner owners manul for a v6 and 5speed I would still like to know what the green light means.

Well, you've got the little green light that comes on when you turn the cruise on and you've got the bigger one thats only suppose to light up for a few seconds when you get in to help find the key hole at night. Later :bounce2:
