84 Rebuild

I need a little help. Just had the head rebuilt (truck sat for 8 years and not ran), everything went together fine, no leaks etc.

She starts but will not idle at all. I hold the throttle at 2000 rpms and runs rough, I let off and she dies. The timing is spot on (unless the machine shop moved my came somehow) Valves are spaced at .08 intake and .12 exhaust. Any ideas will help.

Thanks

if the cam wasnt installed on the engine... then it came off.... the machine shop has nothing to do with the cam being attached or not...
