7th injector question
I will be supercharging very soon. I know that i will need some sort of fuel upgrade to make it run correctly. I am leaning toward the 7th injector just becasue it seems more 'plug and play'. This is my daily driver, i want the extra power and fun, but also want it to run well and reliably. I have read some posts of people still having lean out and pinging problems with the 7th. Is this true? I dont want to have to spend more money and buy the URD AIC kit. if so then i should just scrap the 7th injector and go with the fuel upgrade kit from URD? The 'tuneing' part of it is intimidating. so many options... sorry for the length. I have searched. Thanks to anyone who can help

Josh,
The safest route to go is URD. I say this for the following reason:
With the 7th injector, how do you know if each cylinder is getting the same amount of fuel? Why gamble?
On the other hand, I went with the 7th injector, as well as a smaller pulley, and have no regrets thus far. There is no audible ping. However, I won't know for sure until I get this puppy wired with a wideband.
Believe me when I say this...
After your supercharger goes in, you will want to add more power, (about $80 on a 2.2" pulley from pulleyboys will get you roughly an additional 30 - 40 hp. Well worth the investment IMHO).
Needless to say, I am happy with the 7th injector and smaller pulley. Unlike other mods out there, 3 more lbs of boost makes a VERY noticeable difference. I believe there are several members on here with the URD fuel mod that are running the 2.1" or 2.0" pulley putting out 275hp +
