Question Was 70K miles to late to switch to Sythetic Oil

Hopefully i did not make a huge mistake. I just bought a 97 4runner with 70 K miles. I changed all the fluids and the timing belt. I usually use Mobile One Sythetic for oil changes so without thinking i but it in my 4runner. I have only but 10 miles on the engine since Synthetic oil. Should i switch back to Regular so i don't blow any seals? or just keep running Syn.

Thanks for any help

I LOVE 4runners WHOO WHOO

I switched my 97 over to amsoil last summer, was at about 90k when I did it. No leaks or issues after about 5k miles. I would be surprised if you have any problems, and I certainly wouldn't bother changing it unless you notice leaks.

I believe that only in the most extremely high mileage cases will this synthetic 'leak' myth hold true. I asked one of our product engineers at WIX Filtration, my employer, about this concept, and he laughed it off. You won't have any problems.
