Put a fuel pressure gauge on and check pressure.

The fact your not getting more codes makes me wonder if the ECM got wet.

I went through 3 before I moved mine parallel to the heater box and off the door post

I can`t see what filling the truck up with gas has to do with the no start issue as I only fill me tank when I get gas.

Real time data sounds like a good idea

You are having swap issues your still working through after 6 months

I'm going to try a new computer this weekend and see if it helps at all. What still gets me is shutting the truck off and back on temp fixes the hesitation. Also going to test fuel pressure this weekend as well. Wish there was a easier way instead of plumping into the banjo fitting

Checked codes again. Only one was cam position sensor which I replaced already. Timing is good, timing belt is good and no damage to cam gears whatsoever.

You have to remember it is the complete Cam Sensor Circuit !! Might be a corroded plug open circuit in the wiring

Thing is the ECM if it does not see the cam sensor signal It will shut off the fuel which does not seem to be occurring from your posts

I'll try cleaning the connection and tracing wires, so if I unplug the sensor while it's running it should shut the fuel off?

When the ECM does not see a few of the signals from sensors the ones that give information that the engine is running.

It shuts off the fuel or should.

Ok because I've unplugged it while it was running and never really made that big of a difference. Hopefully have a new ecm Monday to try out and I'll take some sand paper to the pins in the connector to the cps
