5VZ FE Crankcase Breather??
I've tried searching all morning but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. So...
When I installed my 'charger last week, I noticed oil residue in the intake plenum so I researched and am installing a PCV catch can. As we know, the PCV is on the passenger side cylinder bank of our 3.4L. However, this still leaves what to do for the driver side cylinder bank. There's no PCV; just a vent line gong to the intake tube as pictured below (note: this pic is pre-supercharger):
My questions is, what is the best performing routing for the driver side crankcase vent?
1). should this line get a catch can too? I'm starting to get limited on free engine bay space and funding, so...
2). can I just add a breather and cap the line at the intake (then maybe go ISR delete)? What are the negatives (other than vapors venting to the atmosphere) by adding a breather and capping the line in this application?
3). Should I leave it as-is and put up with oil vapor entering the intake?
Thanks for the help!

That vent line from the drivers side is the fresh air supply for the PCV system. In other words, the air enters there, circulates thru the motor and exits thru the PCV valve. Thats not where oily residue is coming from.
