4th Gen, Rack & Pinion, other impressions?
My first impression of the 4th gen wasn't exactly super positive, I had a hard time digging the looks. However, after seeing them with some tires and lift, it's like a whole different truck. It looks like it was designed lifted, then lowered to normal height for the masses.. anyway.. to my point...
I know these trucks are still pretty new but do you guys know if the rack and pinions are better than those in the Taco's? I got under one and it appears it has been relocated to a better more protected position.
I have to say, when I was looking underneath, it appears very well thought out from an off road standpoint. Lots of skid plate protection and as I said, relocation of steering components to better more protected locations.
For those that have wheeled them, how are your impression Vs the 3rd and previous gen trucks?
Thanks,
Frank
