Driving in Ice/snow

4wd/Awd is the ˟˟˟˟ in all kinds of slippery conditions, no matter what kind of car its on. 2wd just plain sucks in slippery conditions....i literally have to put in in 4wd just to get across a 3ft stretch of ice without doing a 180. But on the issue of how fast you can go in 4wd depends. The manual says dont go above 55 in 4hi and 11 in 4low....i havent really driven with 4low but in 4hi i have gone 70-80mph on snow and ice and have had no problems....the only problem is...NO 4WD VEHICLE can help you stop faster...it may help keep you from sliding but if there is a situation ahead of you were you have to make a sudden stop...the best thing to do, if you can, is hit the median or a place where dirt is under the snow...best place for traction...

guys located in Spring Valley, can't think of the zip but thats exit 14 off the NYSThurway, he's off route 45, but I'll get you exact directions, people line up outside his place so sometimes their can be 4 or 5 people in front of you but I've never waited more then an hour or 2, cool guy and just the price of the tires, noone around here beats that.

no tax with cash, you want 4 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo in what size

I'll go their today, ask him, he'll have to order them from tirerack and when they come in he'll call, usually several days

I'll get his business card, with his number and address, but I'll tell you exactly where it is.

Also he's not actually a shop, more or less an alley way but he has been their for 100 years and it's been in the family, I would never send a girl their alone, just the area, it is a safe area but I would not send some people their, all depends on what your use to.

Any other questions, and like I said no tax with cash, and what exact size, reply here or PM me

And he uses a golf club to both mount and balance? Doesn't sound like a good place to walk around their with cash

I went their and checked and he changed his pricing, so it would not be worth it to go their and get tires, he wants 25 per tire for shipping and tax, I've bought tires their before and he only charged the actual price so now Im depressed:pat: sort of

for the area their sure are a lot of nice cars but Im more worried walking around with cash at the local malls although everyone leaves when it gets dark
