it cost me $120... not cheap, but it was well well well worth it.
That's actually not a bad price. The detail shop I used to work for charged in the neighborhood of $200 for a job like that. Sounds like you got a killer deal. Looks great too!

You still had alotta water n' mud. and that looks like a nice trail...does it go all the way along the power lines?

Up in Pittsburgh, NH I hardly had any mud or water in the trails...some but not much. (more rock)

Nice pics!...u were only 3 this time?

yea, just 3 of us.

part of the trail runs along the powerlines, but mostly it falls off at certain spots into parts that are too narrow to keep going. so we do one big loop around, then climb a hill, then go back down and head out.

pretty sweet spot that ne4roc member brian found out about.

lee, actually, there is another one right near lanctots plaza (the dunkin donuts) that is a class-6, and it actually dumps us out on river road (the one the last trail dumped us on to). supposedly that one is a bit of a challenge, but after that last one....i will have to venture there at lunch one day to scout it. so...potentially 3 spots up here, and a possible 4th and 5th if eric will ever show us where he used to go, and if we can ever find those trails in henniker.

OK, I have to find a good detail place around here to get my rig shiny again! I'm glad I got overtime last week...got my check today so now all I gotta do is find a good place to get it done.

What exactly is a "glaze", all I've ever heard of is wash, clay, polish, wax.

from google... "Penetrates the paint finish and Bonds with the Finish enhancing the paint luster adding Depth to the Paint Colors while providing Maximum Protection to the paint surface of your car"

I was looking at buying mequiars car show glaze. and i read that it doesnt build up layers after repeating usage. So that puts me into the thought of any real world benefits and far as durability.

Its basically like a wax, but it dosent protect, or make water bead, just shine. You MUST MUST MUST wax over glaze.

Hmm...learn something new everyday I guess huh?!

Well, sounds like I atleast need to find a place around here that does a decent job of claying, polishing and waxing. The last place I used just didn't cut it for me.

I need to get some spots wetsanded before I do anything major...hope that doesn't cost me too much.

Your rig looks awesome Lee!

today i washed her for the 1st time since, and at the recommendation of the grooming shop, i used a wax as you dry product:

http://www.eagleone.com/_products/3,2089618.asp

its easier to clean, and looks great... i took a couple pics at lunch but have to wait till i get home to upload 'em

just a bump for a good product.

I have a 99 3.4, What is the best way to SAFELY clean the engine bay?

I am putting on new running boards (my wife is short, and she drives it during the week) and once that is done I plan to do some detailing and a good wax job to prep for the midwestern winters...my goal is NO NEW RUST this year.

Replacing the RBs will take care of removing about 60% of the rust...other than that, now body rust, just a little bit on the chassis.

The truck looks awesome! Mine is black as well, and I am definitely going to look into getting a pro detail done, as a matter of fact I will probably pull up your pics and say " can you make my ride look like this? "
