Thanks guys! It says 4RUNNER on the seats as well as on the back of the headrests. Here are some closeups of the steelwork.

Nice Runner. I especially like the steel.

Rubber flooring, locked and a diesel too!

Very nice 4Runner. I like all the trail armor, and I've always liked the looks of red 4Runners.

I love your rig! same color as mine too! I really want front upper turn signals like the ones you have. The ones you have, the orange parts sticks out, the ones here they dont, yours look really cool! Nice steel work! Got any interior pics?

Hi Guys! I live in the old Northern Province ( now Limpopo ) capital city called Pietersburg ( now Polokwane ). I got my rig 2nd hand from a Toyota dealer in Johannesburg and they told me it was originally destined for Zaire up in remote central Africa, which explains the rubber flooring, no heater and powerful aircon - Zaire is virtually on the Equator so has virtually no Winter and their summer months are so rainy that your interior carpets won't last long with all the mud. This is one of the reasons I like this rig so much, the fanciest thing is the electric rear window! The rest is all basic which suits me fine as we tend to do some hairy and remote trails where you don't want complicated electrical / mechanical breakdowns. The bullbar is actually my own design where the idea was to have a pre-runner combined ARB look with as much clearance and as good as possible aproach angle as possible. I also didn't want a heavy piece - IFS remember - so the whole b-bar weighs +- 55 pounds (30kg). I reinforced it everywhere on the inside to create a very strong boxed unit.

You might want to take a look at these spacers, they loosen up your IFS front end quite well.

Thanks, I already spent a lot of time looking at the spacers yesterday. What I'm also very interested in building, is the front suspension truss as per the Downey tubular one. Any idea on the size and wall thickness of the tubing, looks like 1"?
Sorry, no other pics at the moment.
