3rz iac valve coolant hose help
Hey guys,
A while ago my 3rd gen 4runner had some idling issues, after changing the normal goto parts(spark plug wire, plugs, etc) my "mechanic" diagnosed it as a bad iac valve and it was replaced, he metioned at the time that water from the coolant compartment was leaking into the air compartment.
A couple of days ago ive been experiencing a little higher than normal idling (the weather has been a little cooler where I live, lower 60s), and upon closer inspection ive found the coolant hose that goes to the iac valve is missing, can anyone help me out to figure out how to reconnect the coolant hose, or someone might have some pics of their 3rz so i can use them as a guide.
thanks.

I have a 5vz, but my 2 cents is the coolant hose might hopefully be a molded type in a specific shape to fit right where it needs to go/used to be. If you at least have one end in the right spot, you have a pretty good chance of narrowing it down to whatever port is left open.

If it is the correct hose im thinking of (small diameter hose~ 5/16"?), it runs to a hard line on the back right portion of the head. S shaped hose.
The hard line is very close next to the EGR hard line that runs behind the head as well. If you follow the egr hard line, the IACV hard line is about 1 inch away from it- in the general area above the last intake runner, below the 4th fuel injector. It is short and close to the head.
You will have to hover over the back of the engine to see it.
