3rd Gen TPS adjustment?

I haven't had a chance yet, but I've been meaning to take off the throttle body for a thorough cleaning and also clean out the IAC on my 3.4 (5vz).

I had a few questions before I start:

1)So I assume that you unbolt the 4 main bolts on the TB and the whole assembly slides out, is there any thing else besides the throttle cables that I need to disconnect first?

2)After reinstalling the TB, is there a need ro readjust the throttle position sensor (TPS)? Is it even possible on 3rd gens?

3)How much ft/lbs. should I tighten the throttle body to the intake plenum?

Thanks in advance.

Don't forget the vacuum and coolant hoses on the TB too.
There are also 2 electrical connectors (IAC and TPS).

No, there's no adjustment.

The spec is 13 ft-lbs, but just hand tight will be fine.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, there are two hoses beneath the IAC that are sort of a pain to access. That was the hardest part in my opinion.

You'll be absolutely stoked with the results though. It made a HUGE difference after cleaning the IAC.

Thanks MTL, the TPS didn't look adjustable, but I wasn't sure.

I'll post up results when I do it.
