3rd gen tires- Nitto Terra Grapplers....yea.....or nay?

Found a shop near me to do my full set of LT265/75/16 (10 ply) for 725.00 tax included out the door price.
My hankook dynapros are toast and have been great but they are 100 bucks more for the set.

Any issues with the Grapplers?

Thanks !

10ply?? Wow, kinda heavy duty. Unless you're hauling lots of weight.

I loved the last set I had back in 2007. (They were only $113 ea back then.) I went w/ Geolanders after the Nittos wore out just to try something different. The Geolanders are good, but when these wear out, I'm going back with the Nitto TGs. Never had a single issue with them on or off road.

I believe my hankook dynapro LT's are 10 ply . Seems pretty standard to me for 4 wheeling in Arizona.
113.00 ?? Ha ha..... Yea right !! 181.00 out the door with tax is the best i could find.
Even my hankooks are 165.00 each on amazon. They were great and i tortured them for 5 yrs.

Grapplers are 165.00 online and it looks like every other good tire brands prices are catching up with
The fabled BFG's. I'm not drinking the BFG koolaid though.

I'm on my second set of 265/75/16 (load range D) TG. These have around 60k on them and are ready for retirement.

I look forward to installing a fresh set very soon.

IKR. $113 ea sounds crazy, but that's what they were going for back in 2007...they've sure gone up since then!

Glad to see you like them so far. You'll really enjoy them as time goes on. I was very impressed how well they handled at freeway speeds in the rain too.

Lets face it.....the reality of off road is 90% highway driving...10% off road.
They gotta be nice on the highway.
I think all the major tire companies were tired of watching bfg collect 50 bucks a tire more so they upped their prices. Even hankooks prices have jumped. No more free rides.
