I re-set my Dakota Digital device for the larger tires.

Now I don't feel like I'm turning too much-3150 rpm at 78 mph with V6 5spd 4.30 gears and 32's. I would still like the rpm's to be a little lower though.

Yours will be completely different, the 2.7 runs higher RPM's normally.

Wow Steve that looks great! There's just no stopping you and your mods. I heard through the grapevine that your were doing this, so I had to check it out. Good Job.
I look forward to being with you when you roll over the rocks on Chinaman's sometime. I'm coming out to see my relatives in Phoenix again this Thanksgiving. So maybe you can take me to Martinez etc. again. I'll have the same MTR's and stuff on, so take it easy on me.

Kudos on the upgrade to bigger tires Steve. I wouldn't call it a trivial mod though- I don't think anyone with a stock bumper has a shot at running 35's unless they're willing to chop into that nice pretty chrome. Manual hubs would be nice, so there's another grand + change, plus ATS arms, plus steering cooler. Since the ARB bumber is one solid piece, trimming the edges may be a bit tough. This is certainly not for the faint-hearted (and/or cheap), but bottom line is that you showed that it can be done.

I've always liked those Maniac Metal Sliders. Wish they were still making them.

The Daystar sliders are different than the Kong's ones. They had to be. Since the other ones were sold under Kong's/Maniac. Personally I really don't like the Daystar ones, they had to lower them and make the upper bar too big to insert the useless panel.
I know that there were a bunch of the original Maniac/Kongs sliders left over some where. Daystar can't sell them. Not really sure what ever happened to them.

He's the only guy that will know what or where they are.

I think for anything more than 315's you really need to start looking at stronger parts.

I did everything myself. I even cut the fenders myself. It was my idea as well. Fear was the first guy to roll on 315's but he had alot more suspension lift and a 2" BL.

When Casey is here from CA in a few weeks I'm going to see if stock parts can be put together to make an ABS and Prop. Valve free brake system.
Then if you pull the ABS, your on your way to a Full Float rear axle with rear discs.
