3rd gen rear bumper ?
Searched and I'm not sure that I found the answer I was looking for.
Any how at the being of the year I kind of got my 4runner in a bad stituation and as I was attempting to back out of it (not a good idea). I damaged the center portion of my rear bumper.
Can that rear portion just be replaced or does the whole bumper need replacing (not planning on an offroad bumper at the moment)? Not sure what I'm going to do at the moment it will probable just get damage again.

keep the banged up one on there 'till you can get a custom one built. they're pretty tax at around a thousand give or take..but well worth it. might want to check with steve at sonoransteel n see if he's still up for makin' one.

If you can fab one up similar to one that Brucets has made for a few people I'd be interested but it will be some day.
I want to get the rest of the work done to my 4runner first (locker and lights) then start saving a little more. I'm getting tried of living in apartment complexes (plus, I want a garage ).

The only bumper I can make/have jigs, templates for is the one that I have always made. If you want something other than that, I can't do it. Bumpers have a very low profit and are not really worth it for me.

I've said screw it, i'll just bang out the backet so it's not crocked (spelled wrong I know) anymore and live with it.

I talked to a "new" fabricator shop/guy in CO a couple days ago about building me a rear 3rd gen bumper. He suggested that he builds what I want (we talked about you and everyone else thats built one) and then he contracts the templates/blueprints out to a full fledged commercial metal shop that can knock-out all the pieces needed in minutes. He said this can be done at a lesser cost and of coarse, reduce fab time significantly. Have you ever looked into this?
