3rd gen lifted Runner-show off front mud flaps please
Just got my 4crawler 1 inch body lift installed finally. I want to run front mudflaps once again to protect my paint.
So if you are lifted and running front flaps can you show 'em off please? And name the manufacturer? I had read some time ago that 01 Tacoma factory flaps would work but can't seem to get anyone to confirm that as a fact.
My baby is too pretty to be constantly spraying the body sides with water or debris. The Bushwackers have helped immensely but many of you know me-I am never satisfied...
On a completely different topic (hijacking myself is fine) thanks all for the help with LED tails, and axle seals, and Ivan Stewart rims and sidemarker LEDs, and the Basslink horizontal mounts and so on...great group over here.
Appreciate your support during this period of my underemployment, my Census job has ended, now I can get back to my real love modding my rides!
Best group of friends I have never met in many cases.

Speedy did a good job with his. http://www.speedysgarage.net/sportrunner/index.htm. Once there, click the link that says "front mud guards".

I know that mine isn't lifted, but did you consider making your own mudflaps? I made my own, and I'm quite happy about how they turned out. I just used rubber that I bought from lowe's and just drilled two extra holes and used the other existing holes to attach the flaps. They are 99% effective at keeping mud/rocks off my door panels and the only place that they don't block is the bottom portion of the rear fender flares. No problem though, some 3M vinyl will fix that.

If there the right ones and end up looking like those on the web site there going to look great with a little trimming off the bottoms.
The p/n and "G" style code designates that these are for a chevy mini van or a ford ranger. We'll see. Ill post pics

[QUOTE=frohbego;51509581]96743runner & CYi5 --
Do you (have) a part # or a link to order a set?
96743 -rubber you bought at Lowe's- can you be any more specific? We have Lowe's here- but the staff I have asked has no idea where to look for the rubber material you mention. You seem to indicate some holes were already drilled in it and those matched your existing mounting points?
Cyi5 can we get a part number from a Tacoma front set? Or can someone PM me with a Tacoma VIN # so I can look up on ToyotaParts Zone?
dave-White Herculine? no I would not be putting black Herculine at bottoms of my gorgeous white doors, I must be missing the point or you're jesting me...
Again only needing front flaps-rears are fine.
Never have had any issues when off-roading-mine have never hung so low that they were pinched by rocks or logs. If that becomes an issue I have seen some postings on how to pull them up out of the way or will simply remove them for the hardest of the hard core trails.
Thanks for the help guys and the pictures go a long way towards understanding how they all fit up. I do recall experimenting with some Contura flaps a while back and they just were not anywhere close to matching the curve of the fender.

thanks wormhole and when you find em if you would post up a brand or where to buy-those would work fine too. Anything to block the path to the door sides-and those do not seem to hang real low for the off road crowd.
Don't quite get the 3/8" reference-that would be just under half an inch thick? Maybe it is me who is thick...
