3rd gen 4Runner suspension help
I've been looking to redo my suspension lift on my 01 T4R sport. The rough country 3" lift isn't cutting it anymore so I'm gonna make a custom lift...sort of. I can't decide if I was to do the 1st gen Tacoma fabtech coilovers or OME front struts. I was also wondering if the newer Trd struts will fit. Also I'm probably gonna put the bilstein 5100 shocks in the rear and either leave the rcx coils or once again go with ome. If anyone knows any alternative solutions to having better ride quality and off road capability let me know. My car has just started riding like crap more and more with the Rcx lift. For anyone wanting to lift their runner don't get spacer lifts, they are a cheap crappy way to lift and anything for a 1st gen Tacoma (suspension and bumper wise for the front end only) will fit a 3rd gen 4Runner.

here are some known and proven suspension lifts for the 1996-2002 4Runner:
strongly recommend that you read through Steve Schaeffer's write-ups so you get familiar with your truck and so you'll know what you need/want.
