3rd gen 4runner suspension guidance.
Hello everyone, I've been searching the internet for awhile trying to come up with a suspension set up for my 4runner. I mostly use it for exploring service roads and camping. I tend to carry a lot of gear and also have the dirtbike on a rear hitch carrier. Future plans are to add sliders and front/rear bumper and winch. I also will be adding a small utility trailer to carry my dirtbike and other needed gear. Not looking to jack up my cv angles for achive a certain amount of lift. If I ever want to add tires I will add a BL or trim and hammer.
What I am looking for is just some insight or real experience with some set ups. Most of the builds and threads I've read talk about full OME or mixing OME and Bilstein or Toytec. I will put down what I've kind of come up with.
Front coil and shock Bilstein Tundra 6112s - Ive read they are about a 2.5 inch lift and are a 650lb spring so I'm thinking that could carry some weight and be able to control it.
Rear Coil OME 891 - I've read that its a hd coil that it is designed for load bearing. Not sure of any other coils that will do the same job.
Rear Shock Bilstein 5100 - Not sure what model I would choose, I've read that using a Bilstein shock with the 891 coil helps from a really harsh feeling.
Would also look into upper control arms/diff drop/pan hard bracket or any other added item to make the lift 100% right.
Thanks for taking a look, sorry if it's a little mixed up trying to write this on my phone and it's not going to well haha.

Sounds like your on the right track, Steve @ Sonoran Steel has some great kits and a wealth of knowledge check out his site, on my 97' SR5 I bought his complete kit, pan hard bar, brake lines, diff drop, steering extension, bump stops, Bilstein and toyota coil set up 8 years ago or so, run a winch and I have a hydraulic plow on it for the winter no issues, it also has a 2" BL. My other 99' 4R I bought the now available Bilsteins for 3rd gen 4R, and installed the OME ARB coils,OME906 in the rear, the ride is really great on my Daily driver 99' Limited, no complaints at all would do this again, minimal lift achieved was 1-2", I am currently looking at installing the 1' BL on this 4R, I am running 2015 4R trail edition 17" rims on factory tires 265/70-R17 and it fits without any BL on factory suspension on my tall 99', no rubbing no mods.
