315/70R17 info, prices, etc.
Hey all-
Thought I would pass this along as these tires are extremely affordable right now. Anyone running a 17" wheel or looking to setup a new 17" wheel and tire combo, here is the story. www.tirerack.com has the 315's on sale right now for $123 a tire, they are the BFG A/T's...ridiculously cheap. They were at $117 a tire until today when I finally had the money to order and saw they had raised the price $6 a tire. They do offer 2 day air.
Also, I have a contact on an H2 forum, (the 315 BFG is what they run stock), who has 4 tires with less than 500 highway miles on them. He is in TX. If you were willing to drive and pick them up, you could get the set for under $400 total. If you needed them to be shipped, it would be more like $500. Let me know if any of you are interested and I will give you his contact info.
Lance and the rest-
The 315's are going on in a couple of days. I am hoping to only add 1" extra of suspension lift to accomidate them. I think I may have to do a little slight trimming of the front bumper with my dremel, but the cutting(if any) will be completely unnoticable, as I seem to be cutting, repainting, and doing custom work on just about everything...lol. I will have a bunch of pics up asap.
Again, if there is any way that I can help any of you with the 315's, let me know...I'm always here to help. Thanks.
