305/70/16 MT/R's installed

I got my new tires on this morning 305/70/16 (33x12.50) goodyear MT/R's. The ride and handle good exept at 45 to 55 mph they shake really bad. I guess I just need to get them re balanced. I love the look though. The stick out about a 1/2 to 1 icnhe out of the limited flare.

Webshots is down right now so I cant upload the pics. I will have to wait till it comes back up unless some one wants to post some for me.

They probably shake because they are not round. I had the same problem with my Goodyear tires and had to have them shaved so that they were round. That made a HUGE difference.

I had the same problem with my Toyo's that I just replaced. One set had three out-of-round tires, so the tire shop replaced those three. Static balancing won't catch out of round tires, but road-force balancing will. Ask for road-force balancing.

Peace.

I will get my money back before I have to pay to get them shaved down. Just get a different tire.

Thanks DATA!

I will take some more pics after I get a chance to wash it. It is nasty in these pics. The weather man is calling for rain in the NC so it will proble be a few days before it gets washed.

So the question I have for you is what type of rubbing do you have. I'm looking at doing pretty much the same setup and am wondering what type of rubbing I'm looking at. I don't have the Limited Flares, but I do have older style "matte black" style.

I've already got the downey 3" lift, and am wondering how big of a Roger Brown lift I will need to clear these.

Thanks!

No rubbing at all. Even at full flex. I have some wide mud flaps on the front to keep thown rock off my paint, they rub slitly at full turn but I am just going to make some cables to hold back the flaps kinda like the jaos ones.

Etoy get a 2 inche.

Do you guys like the white letter out?

I'm kind of a fan of the white out look. Especially right after it's been washed and the letters have been bleached and the tires have been greased. IMO it compliments the white of your truck nicely.

I like the white letters out... kinda goes with your paint...

Do you really like those wheels? IMHO, they don't really go with the truck

thanks for the complements

That make me feel better. I could not decide white or black. I figured I had just spent 900+ dollars on tires I sould show off the name brand. I just am not a big fan of how fat the white letters are on the goodyear.

After putting them on the truck I liked them. I think it gives it a more sporty look with the wider stance and white letters.

The rims where just what I was looking for. 4 inche back space. polished(for the bling bling look) and the fake bead lock to give the off road truck look and also give people some thing to talk about. ha ha. It is hard to find a wheel that looks good that is not a bullet hole design wheel like every one already has that has the right back space.
