3.4 TRD SC dyno
#41
I had and saw SOOOO many reliability issues with the old stuff it was not funny, and it was always an expensive fix. To each their own. Since they started using modern pumps it has got much better.
The meth injection is a nice bonus, helps keep everything cool as the supercharger likes to get REAL hot. IAT's can easily get well over 200 degrees.
Many people just run a 2.2 pulley though, I did for awhile and it worked fine. Didn't make nearly the same power as with meth injection though.

They are even cheaper online, here is the first listing that came up in my quick search: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Thunderbolt-...082d86&vxp=mtr
$50 for an OBDII cat shipped to your door.

Odd, around here you can get legal cats installed for around $90 and inspected on the same day.

I guess I don't see the point in spending more then I have to on an item I don't want anyways. Not like I care how well it works as long as it passes the tailpipe sniffer which they have on all the cars I have used them on with flying colors.

Based on the OP's dyno's, the CAT alone is a 10hp / 12 lb-ft increase throughout the ENTIRE powerband... it's basically like running a LEGAL test pipe.

Either way, to each their own, I prefer having no cat personally.
