3.0L tensioner

My crate install hit a bit of a snag. All my help flaked on me . Anyways I am doing the rest myself, but I cannot figure out where the tensioner goes on the 3.0L I am putting in. I didn't see them take it off, so I have no clue where it fits. Any help you guys could offer?

It depends on what year you're working on . If its a 92-95 , the tensioner mounts in the fan pulley bracket and the tensioner pulley mounts to the P.S. cyl. head . If its an earlier model than the tensioner pulley pivots off a pin on the water pump and is spring loaded . If you have the later style tensioner system and they gave you an early style motor , than you have a problem as the earlier heads are not drilled to accept the newer tensioner . Hope that makes sense . Daryl
