3.0L: 2.25" Mandrel bend vs. 2.5" Crush bent?

3.0L: 2.25" Mandrel bend vs. 2.5" Crush bent?
My question is this:
On the 3.0, does it make a difference in exhaust flow, or actual Internal Diameter if the pipe is crush bent, or mandrel bent?
Would I still loose too much power with a 2.5" crush bent exhaust, or does the crimping in the bends effectively lower the ID?
Thanks guys!

Crush bent pipe has awful exhaust flow characteristics.

I'm pretty sure there's some mandrel bent systems. I believe the Jardine system is mandrel?
And I know crush bent doesn't flow as well, but the 3.0 probably won't gain much, if any power, from any kind of exhaust work, whether mandrel or crush. Also, knowing that crush doesn't flow as well, would it alleviate that at all going with a larger than normal size (ie 2.5" over 2.25")?
Thanks!

Jardine has a 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust cat-back system. I have it on my 88 and I'm pretty sure they make it for the 2nd gen as well. Performance Products sell it and when they run a 10% off special it's not too bad of a price.
