If you read his other thread, Casey said that he didn't want to jump straight into SAS 'cause he's still new to the offroading thing and wanted to acclimate his skill while his truck is evolving.
At least, I think that's what the reason was...

I also see another point. If he were to ever try to trade his truck it would retain it's value, a SAS'ed 4Runner isn't going to get you much through a dealership.

I think we all missed the activity that took place in AZ after the guys left the shop I'm sure that has something to do with the late start today.

I think the camera link died sometime last night.
I'm guess we should at least see some sunlight peeking through the sides of the garage doors.
My guess anyway.

No we just did not run the camera today, it was a very busy productive day that begain at 7:00am.
It's done and they are on there way back to California, with fully functional 4WD and this bumper.

Vernon did some transmission magic and the W59 is good to go, the thing crawls well, we tested it and then today we fabricated a buch of stuff includeing a W59 tranny (4WD) bracket for a 2WD crossmember.
There is alot more different on a 2WD than meets the eye but in the end we did it, it's fully converted.

Good job Steve and Conversion Team!
I'm sure Casey is very happy, not only with the conversion, but the original Sonoran Steel Rear Bumper. I figured that would end up in a national archive or something.
Too bad you didn't get a chance to take him to Martinez.

Looks like both Casey and Charles will be at the Toyota Jamboree @ the Hammers at the end of April as well.
We'll all be in the Arizona Camp, look for the Arizona flag.
I hear we will be filming the "Bruce gone wild" video, something about a thong and fire walking?

"Thongs gone wild" along with the Tin Bender and the BTG fire bombs, it should be quite a show.
