Question 2nd gen shock replacement

hi

Has anyone replaced the rear shocks on a 2nd gen 4runner(hilux) that has the push button adjustable soft/hard option. If so was the system disconected or can this be hooked up to new shocks.?

Those sound like air shocks?
Was this a standard item on the Hilux?
If so, then you just need to get a set of adjustable air shocks to replace them with.

We didn't get Limiteds until 95 and never got that shock option here in the States. It may have been a package that was only available in certain markets. There are actually a lot of really good shocks on the market so I don't see the need to buy stock shocks again but I think you need to ask a guys local to you who would know for sure.
