2nd gen diff drop

Some I'm starting to look at swapping in a 1uzfe, the only thing is for the sump to fit it needs a 2" body lift, but I don't like big body lifts. So it was suggested a 1" body lift and a 1" diff. drop. Is there a kit for this like there is for 3rd gens? A write up? Anything?

My understanding is that if you use an LS400 motor, they have a front sump that clears the IFS without a diff drop and possibly no BL either. Let me see if i can dig up the thread for you over there.

This project is still a long way off, so no rush I know you're looking at doing it too. Yay! For cheap toyota V8s. If I can find a bellhousing/adapter plate and get motor mounts made cheap this could be way cheaper than the 5vz swap and maybe cheaper than the 7mgte swap.
