2nd Gen 4runners & 3rd Gen P/U front Rotors
I'm going to probably be replacing the rotors & pads on my 93 P/U pretty soon as they are the ˟˟˟˟˟˟ right now.
I thought I heard somewhere (recall it was from a reliable source) that supposedly the 2nd Gen (90-95) 4runner rotors are slightly heavier duty than the P/U's of the same era (89-95) and some guys will put the 4runner rotors in place of the Pickup rotors for better braking or longetivity (or a combination of both, etc. - you get my point). I'm just curious if anyone knows about this. And please dont' mention anything with respect to aftermarket rotors or pads or anything. I am talking strictly OEM Toyota rotors, pads, etc.
Thanks.

hmm..I thought the answer was no, but I fired up my Toyota parts program and found some different part numbers, but it still doesnt make sense. I'll list the parts i found and the trucks that had them
43512-35200---91 4R, 93 4R
43512-35190---92 PU, 91 4R
Doesnt make sense
