2003 Gas Petal Issues

Hi all,
I have noticed that the new drive-by-wire gas petal doesn't really feel that natual like old style gas petals. I petal force seems really hard and the first portion of the petal travel doesn't accelerate the rig much (good for low-range off roading though).

This really sucks and I hate to say it but I cannot drive this way. I love it but even after driving for 30 minutes my calf starts to twitch then go into cramps! Now I don't sit on my coutch all day so it isn't like the only leg excersize I get is driving

Anyone else having issues/comments/whatever or is it just my stupid leg

Thanks, Scott

Take 1,000 mg of a calcium/magnesium/boron mix daily to help with the cramps. Otherwise, I've no idea what you're talking about, and wish I could help but can't. These things have learning ECU's and may eventually adapt to your style. If it's been over a month and 1K miles with no improvement, start doing calf-raises with weights every other day!

Yeah, I ment pedal; wish I could spell what I mean

I think it is pretty funny too. I mean who has ever had a gas pedal cause them to not be able to drive their car because it is uncomfortable??

The truth of the matter is that our family owns three cars and I cannot drive the 4Runner for more than 30 minutes unless I want my leg to cramp up.

BTW: I take a multi-vitamin and a potassium-magnesium pill already

Guess it is just me...

I'd be happy to trade Runners to solve the gas petal problem your having.

You guys are too funny.

It must be just me so I'll try and figure the problem out. I wonder if they are doing leg transplants yet.

Thanks, Scott
