2003 Borla Factory Pics??
I am looking for good close-up pics of the optional Borla exhaust system. I have a V6 and I am having the stock resonator and tail pipe removed and having a custom pipe/stainless tip reattached to point out the side behind the rear passenger tire. I am doing this in hopes that it will relieve the smell from the exhaust entering the rear cabin when the hatch glass is down. I would like some pics to get an idea of how it should look.
Yes I have already did a search and did not find any pics.
Thanks In Advance

My Borla pics died at Montypics. I have only had the smell occur a few times, and always after I WOT the vehicle, never on a steady engine speed or incline. I don't think the side outlet exhaust will solve the issue. It is a major design flaw to have the exhaust pipe stick out the back with a rear window that lowers. All SUV's should have their exhaust mount to the side. I bought my Borla for the performance, so if you think it is going to solve your daily smell issue, sorry to be the bearer of bad news.....anything is possible.

"My exhaust solution"
Yesterday I modified my stock 2003 exhaust termination from straight out the back to behind the rear passenger tire. I did this in hopes to solve the problem of exhaust gases and more importantly the exhaust smell from entering the rear cargo area with the rear window down.
Well, my solution has worked. The problem I had was when I punched it from a dead stop or when passing someone with the rear window down I would get a nasty stench in the cabin for a few minutes until it aired out. Now after this mod that problem has been solved.
It's great to be able to cruz with all the windows down and no more smell. Check out the link below for some pics and see what you think.

Looks awesome
That looks sweet! I've alway disliked the way the stock resonator and tip looked from the factory! I have not had the smell, so I replaced my system with a Magnaflow an in-line resonator before the muffler and a nice double stainless tip which exits out the rear. fr03
